The Baja's license plate is mounted on a spring loaded holder, which deploys when the tailgate is lowered.

This is so the license plate is not obscured when the tailgate is down.

Dude, I've ridden a Carbon Roubaix before, they're pretty awesome bikes.

Was the Baja ever sold with a manual?

Yes. You can even find a Baja turbo with a manual... but good luck prying it from the cold dead hands of it's owner.

Yes, both turbo and non-turbo, just not with leather seats. Those were only on the turbo, and only with the automatic.

The closest stick shift Baja for sale is 312 miles away from me. No thanks.
